For cats or kittens who do best with company through the night, I offer overnight sits in your own home. Here's what to expect, so you know exactly how it works before you book.

What an overnight sit includes

• I arrive in the evening at a time that suits your cat's routine, usually around 7 pm.

• I will stay overnight at your home and leave the following morning, typically at 7 am.

• Feeding routine, fresh water, and litter tray cleaning are carried out to your cat's usual schedule.

• Playtime, grooming, and affection, tailored to what your cat enjoys.

• A daily update with photos, sent so you can relax and enjoy your time away.

• Basic home care: curtains/blinds, lights on a sensible rotation, bins out if needed, and mail or parcels brought in.

Before the stay

Before the overnight booking starts, we arrange to meet up in your home. This is where we go through feeding routines, medication if needed, house rules, emergency contacts, and where everything is kept. Keys are exchanged and logged using a key release and return form upon request.

During the stay

I treat your home with the same care and respect that I'd want shown to my own. That means:

• No visitors and no use of the home beyond normal day-to-day living.

• Your cat's routine comes first, fitted around their comfort rather than mine.

• Any concerns, vet visits, or changes in behaviour will be communicated to you straight away.

• In a genuine emergency, I'll contact you and your vet as agreed.

• I will always take reasonable steps to secure your home but cannot be held responsible for any burglaries or accidents during your absence.

• If I am unable to gain access due to incorrect keys or alarm codes, I will attempt to contact both the client and emergency contact up to three times to gain access.

What I ask of clients

• Owner must provide working keys and alarm codes.

• A clean, made-up space for me to sleep, along with a spare key or access code.

• Access and use of the bathroom

• Clear, written instructions for feeding, medication, and any household quirks (that tricky boiler!).

• Sufficient food and litter for the duration of the stay.

• Any medication left out to cover the full stay, with a little extra in case plans change.

• Emergency contact details for you and a local backup, plus your vet's details.

• Reasonable use of household appliances such as kettle and outline specific room or places off-limits by the owner.

• I must be informed of any indoor cameras and I reserve the right to turn off any cameras during visits if necessary.

Booking and pricing

Overnight sits are charged per night, and the current nightly rate is £60. Please get in touch for my availability and an exact quote for your dates. The overnight sit covers a 12-hour period spanning across the two days.

Cancellations

Short notice cancellations will incur full payment if cancelled within 48 hours of the start date.

If Services are cut short because of an early return home, the unused dates or visits will not be refunded.
